BUY MY BOOKS!!! - NOT!!!

BUY MY BOOKS!!! — NOT!!! 😄

Seriously, I can't even imagine trying to do this whole-heartedly.

If anyone who knows my work can tell you anything, it's that this really isn't my M.O.

So let's get into it...

The last few weeks inside the Simplified ecosystem have honestly been pretty incredible.

My newest release, How to Stay Focused While Doing the Hard Stuff, has started gaining real momentum. Not only has the book been climbing categories on Amazon, but readers are actually staying engaged with it — and that part means the most to me.

At one point this week, the book generated over 110 page reads in a single day... and the book itself is only 166 pages long.
For a newer release, that honestly blew my mind a little.

And the really cool part?

It’s not just one book anymore.

Economics for Adults Simplified, Time Management for Adults Simplified, Simplified Money Management for Young Adults and the rest of the Simplified ecosystem are all continuing to move together in different ways.
Some books surge.
Some quietly keep circulating.

But together, they’re starting to feel like a real connected system — exactly what I hoped they would become.

And honestly?

That’s because of you.

Every download.
Every review.
Every encouraging message.
Every page read.

It all matters more than you probably realize.

💡Staying Focused

Here’s something I’ve noticed lately…

Consistency usually beats intensity.

A lot of people think change happens through giant motivational moments. Sometimes it does. But most real progress comes from small things done over and over again.

A short walk.
A better sleep routine.
Turning distractions off for 20 minutes.
Actually finishing one thing before jumping to the next.

Not flashy.
Not exciting.
Just steady.

And honestly?
That’s usually where real change starts.

Distraction has become so normal that a lot of us don’t even notice it anymore.

We check one notification…
then another…
then suddenly 45 minutes disappeared and we don’t even remember where they went.

I’ve learned that focus usually isn’t about becoming superhuman.

It’s about reducing the noise long enough to actually hear yourself think again.

Burnout doesn’t always show up as exhaustion.

Sometimes it shows up as:

  • procrastination
  • brain fog
  • irritation
  • endless scrolling
  • losing interest in things you normally enjoy

Sometimes your brain isn’t lazy.
Sometimes it’s overloaded.

There’s a difference.

🔋 Burnout Tip of the Month

Even during long factory shifts, I’ve learned that small resets can make a huge difference.
For me, that means:

  • taking a quick walk after lunch
  • switching from endless coffee refills to one Celsius in the morning
  • drinking more water throughout the day

Nothing fancy.
Nothing life-changing overnight.

But those small adjustments help me stay alert and avoid feeling completely drained by the end of the day.

Find your reset.
It doesn’t have to be big — just consistent.

As we step into 2026, I wanted to take a moment to slow things down — just enough to reflect, reset, and refocus. The past year reminded me of something important: progress doesn’t always announce itself loudly. Sometimes it shows up quietly — in steady page reads, thoughtful messages, meaningful conversations, and readers who keep coming back because the content actually helps. That’s what the Simplified work has always been about. Not chasing noise. Not overwhelming people.Just making...

🎉 Something BIG is in the works.... And no—I’m not apologizing. Why? Because I’ve been quietly building something behind the scenes. Something big. Something I’m not ready to reveal just yet. But when the time comes, you’ll know exactly why this delay was worth it. Now… If you are ready, let’s jump in. 🔥 The Slam That Changed Everything (A Teaser) Every now and then, life hands you a moment that doesn’t look dramatic on the outside… but inside, something shifts forever. I had one of those...

I know it’s early — but the excitement isn’t! As we head into a new month, I’m thinking about a time my best friend and I were sitting at a McDonald’s. I was sipping my usual large Coke, easy ice (you get more Coke that way). The conversation drifted between how things were going and the usual family routines — until the subject of family finances came up. (I was bursting at the seams waiting to talk about this one!) Respectfully, I told him I’ve got some great things happening in my life as...
