A Clear Signal for 2026

As we step into 2026, I wanted to take a moment to slow things down — just enough to reflect, reset, and refocus.

The past year reminded me of something important: progress doesn’t always announce itself loudly. Sometimes it shows up quietly — in steady page reads, thoughtful messages, meaningful conversations, and readers who keep coming back because the content actually helps.

That’s what the Simplified work has always been about.

Not chasing noise.
Not overwhelming people.
Just making complex things clearer — money, economics, burnout, and real life.

💡 A Quick Economics Nugget “Economics is extremely useful as a form of employment for economists.” – John Kenneth Galbraith
Funny, right? But here’s the truth — economics isn’t just for experts. It’s for everyday people making everyday decisions. That’s why I write these books: to keep things simple and useful for you.

What’s staying the same

I’ll continue writing and sharing content that:

  • respects your time
  • speaks plainly
  • focuses on real-world application
  • meets you where you are, not where the internet says you “should” be

No fluff. No pressure. No pretending life is simpler than it is.

What’s ahead in 2026

This year will be about depth over speed:

  • strengthening the Simplified Series
  • refining how ideas connect across money, work, and recovery
  • building resources that last longer than a trend cycle

If something I share helps you think more clearly, stress less, or feel more grounded — then the work is doing its job.

Thank you for being here.
Thank you for reading.
Thank you for choosing clarity in a noisy world.

Here’s to a steady year ahead — one thoughtful step at a time.

🎉 Something BIG is in the works.... And no—I’m not apologizing. Why? Because I’ve been quietly building something behind the scenes. Something big. Something I’m not ready to reveal just yet. But when the time comes, you’ll know exactly why this delay was worth it. Now… If you are ready, let’s jump in. 🔥 The Slam That Changed Everything (A Teaser) Every now and then, life hands you a moment that doesn’t look dramatic on the outside… but inside, something shifts forever. I know it’s early — but the excitement isn’t! As we head into a new month, I’m thinking about a time my best friend and I were sitting at a McDonald’s. I was sipping my usual large Coke, easy ice (you get more Coke that way). The conversation drifted between how things were going and the usual family routines — until the subject of family finances came up. (I was bursting at the seams waiting to talk about this one!) Respectfully, I told him I’ve got some great things happening in my life as...
